Job Summary
Micron Technology is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven SR Engineer for Assembly & Test Central QA. This role involves leading Material Review Board (MRB) and reprocessing efforts to mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring product quality. The engineer will explore and develop innovative solutions to improve processes, effectiveness, and efficiencies, participate in quality audits, and review site quality metrics and change management processes. Key responsibilities include driving containment, performing risk assessments, and collaborating with operations and engineering groups.
Must Have
- Organizing and leading MRB & Reprocessing meetings, ensuring compliance to MRB / Rescreen Business Process & related QMS
- Driving accurate containment scope and methodology
- Leading and performing Risk Assessment on deviated products
- Aligning disposition decision and driving execution team to completion
- Develop, evaluate tools to improve processes, effectiveness and efficiencies
- Result-oriented audit skills and shall lead/coordinate line assessments
- Collaborate and Review Major 8Ds to identify root cause, containment and validating corrective and preventive actions
- Good analytical skills to analyze historical data for quality disposition
- Support Customer and Internal Quality Audits
- Driving Site to achieve Quality KPI and Metrics
- Collaborate with Assembly and Test (AT) operations and engineering groups to review and approve through Change Management process (GCP)
- Prepare and publish periodic quality metric data
- Product coverage includes DRAM, NAND, mNAND, SSD and Modules
- 5+ years’ experience in Semiconductor component assembly & Test or Surface-Mount Technology industry as a product engineer or managing Quality
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Material Science or a related field of study

We are looking for a high energy, ambitious, result driven individual with strong work ethic and integrity to join us as an Assembly & Test Central QA in Micron Technology. You will be responsible for leading MRB (Material Review Board) & Reprocessing Effort to mitigate supply chain. This includes Exploring and Developing Innovative to Improve Processes, Effectiveness and Efficiencies. You will also be responsible for participating in regular reviews of on-site Quality audits, Site quality metrics and Change Management Process which are part of Assembly/Test line quality performance KPIs.
Main Responsibility is to Lead MRB (Material Review Board) and Reprocessing Efforts to mitigate Supply Chain Risk without Impacting Quality. This includes Exploring and Developing Innovative to Improve Processes, Effectiveness and Efficiencies.
Responsibilities and Tasks
- Organizing and leading MRB & Reprocessing meetings, ensuring Compliance to MRB / Rescreen Business Process & related QMS

- Should have good analytical skills. And must use those skills to analyze historical data for quality disposition

- Driving Site to achieve Quality KPI and Metrics

Qualification & Skills
- Strong troubleshooting skill
- Good organizational skills and sharp attention to detail
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Efficient computer skills, e.g. Microsoft Office Kit, including Outlook, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, snowflake etc.
- Knowledge of Semiconductor assembly operation and test process
- Knowledge of using statistical tools, Unix and JMP.
- Proficient in Quality processes and procedures Control Plan, SPC, FMEA, 8D methodology, etc.
- Knowledge of semiconductor reliability testing
- Ability to work independently or in a group environment.
- Support Micron sites in India on managing quality related events ranging from new product introduction to ramping to mass production. This includes Micron External Manufacturing sites in India
- Close engagement with quality and reliability teams in India on ensuring outgoing product meets all requirements
Experience & Education - Required
- 5+ years’ experience in Semiconductor component assembly & Test or Surface-Mount Technology industry as a product engineer or managing Quality.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Material Science or a related field of study
- Lead auditor certification for ISO 9001:2015 or IATF 16949 will have advantage
- Six sigma green/black belt certification with proven project-based skills will have advantage
