We are looking for a Sr Product Manager to lead a foundational product area at the heart of PayPal’s Conversational AI strategy. This role will be responsible for creating and scaling the AI Insights and Search capabilities that power opportunity discovery and knowledge management of our platform clients launching and managing AI Agents. This leader will drive two critical workstreams: Lead product strategy & vision for the AI Assistant Search and RAG tooling shaping how we enable platform clients (inc. AI Agents) to access up-to-date knowledge. Lead product strategy & vision for AI Assistant Insights and Discovery – leveraging and expanding the work with AI search to build the pipelines and infrastructure that allow platform clients to make the most of unstructured data (transcripts, feedback) for the purpose of: Opportunity discovery and topic modeling/clustering, Automated agentic prompt generation, Automated test case generation, Customer modeling (simulation). Must have:
  • Uses data to build insights on product requirements consistent with the shared vision for the product.
  • Gathers insights from the customer experience and customer needs to input to product requirements
  • Analyzes research, market analysis and usability studies, research and market analysis to support data-driven decision making
  • Monitors product profitability measures, including budget.
  • Lead sprint planning, daily standups and retrospectives to drive execution. Interfaces with product leadership as needed.
  • Partners with content developers, data scientists, product designers and user experience researchers to identify new opportunities.
Good to have:
  • 8+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years in a senior or principal role
  • Strong understanding of traditional and neural search approaches, RAG techniques/measurement, and exploratory analysis techniques for insights (Data Science, clustering and topic modeling).
  • Passion for AI/LLMs, agentic applications, and building ethical, transparent systems
  • Passion for building platforms as products to democratize access to AI and simple/fast AI management.
  • Experience gap analysis and quality assurance tools and approaches for AI systems through unstructured analysis (transcript analysis).
  • Proven ability to translate ambiguous problem spaces into scalable, durable solutions
  • Track record of shipping complex platforms or tools with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to influence at all levels
  • Prior experience working in Tech, Fintech, or high-trust domains a plus

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualification:

  • 8+ years of product management experience, with 3+ years in a senior or principal role
  • Strong understanding of traditional and neural search approaches, RAG techniques/measurement, and exploratory analysis techniques for insights (Data Science, clustering and topic modeling).
  • Passion for AI/LLMs, agentic applications, and building ethical, transparent systems
