Job Description

At PayPal, iOS Software Engineers are the architects behind the advanced applications that power millions of secure transactions each day. You’ll design, develop, and optimize innovative mobile platforms that deliver seamless, high-quality experiences to customers worldwide. As an iOS Software Engineer, you’ll build robust, scalable applications, collaborate with designers and product managers to craft exceptional user experiences, and contribute across all phases of the software development lifecycle. You’ll write clean, efficient code, perform thorough unit and integration testing, and actively participate in code reviews and agile development practices to ensure PayPal continues to set the standard for mobile excellence.

  • Understanding of mobile UI/UX design principles, including responsive layouts, accessibility, and user-centered design
  • Familiarity with Apple’s development tools such as Xcode and Interface Builder
  • Exposure to core iOS frameworks (e.g., UIKit, Core Data, Core Animation)
  • Ability to write clean, maintainable code following internal coding conventions and best practices
  • Actively collaborate with peers and seek feedback to improve code quality and technical skills

Expected Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
