The Sr. Product Manager will be responsible for the commercial aspects of market data and news assets, and for leading content improvement projects across the platform. This includes understanding data flow, managing projects related to content improvements, simplifying the ordering process, identifying areas for growth, and supporting exchange mapping efforts. The role involves deep domain knowledge of content sets and requires strong project management and analytical skills. The job requires the candidate to ensure compliance and build constructive relationships with team members and business partners.

  • Product/Content Management experience (8-10 years)
  • Solid project management and operational planning skills
  • Experience with market data - exchange venues
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with SQL, Data APIs, and Microsoft Office

Job Details

LSEG is a leading provider of broad & differentiated content, and we are looking for a dedicated individual to handle the ‘business’ around of our market data and news assets, and to project run content-improvement projects across the platform.

The successful individual will acquire deep domain knowledge on our content sets, understanding the data flow from acquisition to delivery, and the business terms around which we make the content available in our products.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the commercial setup, impact assessments & change implementation for exchanges & third-party data.  Maintain the master price list of available venues.  Ensure compliance with vendor agreements, business goals & policies. 
  • Manage projects around content improvements.  Projects range in complexity & scope and include initiatives such as the introduction of new exchange venues, cross-team automation efforts, exchange-mandated updates, and running content dependencies for related projects.
  • Simplify & improve scale of the exchange/third party ordering process, improving the experience for self-administration, and platform migrations.
  • Identify areas for growth/margin improvement with exchanges/3rd party data, implement & track progress.
  • Support exchange mapping efforts that are a pre-requisite for sharing market data applications & migrating users between or current & future market data platforms.
     

Qualifications

  • BA/BS or equivalent experience required, plus 8-10 years of product/content management
  • Solid project management and operational planning skills
  • Experience with market data – exchange venues & commercials around the same.
  • Strong data analysis, problem solving, presentation and interpersonal skills. 
  • Experience w/SQL, Data APIs, and Microsoft Office tools
  • Ability to build constructive relationships with team members & business partners across the organization
  • French language is a plus
