Job Description

As a Staff Engineer - Analog Design, you will be responsible for designing D2D/UCIe/HBM/DDR interface sub-blocks, defining block-level architecture, and performing circuit design and simulation. You will mentor junior designers, provide custom layout guidance, and ensure design signoff. This role requires extensive experience in analog circuit design, particularly in advanced nodes like 2nm, 3nm, 5nm, and 7nm. You should also have experience designing circuits at speeds of 10-32Gb/s and a strong understanding of high-speed transmit drivers, receivers, PLLs, ADCs, and DACs. The role also involves providing support to employees to thrive in personal and professional capacities.

Must have:

12+ years of Analog circuit design experience.
Experience in FinFET design in advanced nodes (2nm, 3nm, 5nm, 7nm).
Experience designing circuits at speeds of 10-32Gb/s.
High speed transmit driver and receiver designs, PLL, ADC, DAC design.
Knowledge of layout constraints.

What You’ll Do

D2D/UCIe/HBM/DDR interface sub-block design such as phase interpolator, PLL, high-speed IO and high-speed custom logic designs.
Define Block-level architecture and circuit topologies to meet system specs.
Circuit design and simulation across PVT and sign off quality matrix to meet specs.
Mentor the junior designers and support them in problem solving.
Custom layout guidance and post-layout simulations expertise.
Documentation, review and design signoff.

What You’ll Need

Minimum 12 years of experience in Analog circuit design from a reputed product-based company.
Experience in dual patterning FinFET design in advanced nodes (2nm, 3nm, 5nm, 7nm)
Experience designing circuits at speeds of 10-32Gb/s.
High speed transmit driver and receiver designs, PLL, ADC, DAC design with solid system understanding.
Hands-on experience of sub-block designs such as current mirror, regulator, bandgap reference, amplifiers with small-signal analysis of several topologies.
Proven track record of delivering high-speed, high-precision circuits.
Basic knowledge of the following layout constraints: antenna checks, antenna failure, latchup issues, ESD constraints, ERC related checks, matching, cross talk, coupling, shielding, guard ring usage, LEF generation, .lib characterization, extraction setup, DRC LVS run switch knowledge, IR drop requirements, EM issues, parasitic matching, parasitic reduction techniques, static and dynamic IR analysis.
BTech/MTech/MS in VLSI from a reputed university
You will be reporting to Director Analog Design
