RUN Studios has a full-time opportunity for a technically savvy, solution-oriented individual. We are seeking a driven Stages Technical Support I team member to assist our client, a leader in the video production industry located in the Redmond area.

Video production is an integral part of our client’s marketing and communication strategy, and you will be front and center in supporting those productions. Working with the larger production team you will maintain a stage to help ensure it is production ready. You will also ensure all storage locations, production gear, and load zones are in proper order and placement for future productions.

Must be available to work on site in Redmond, WA.

 

As a Stages Technical Support I, You Will

  • Maintain all stages and back storage area, keeping them production ready.
  • Keep gear and equipment organized.
  • Test lights, lighting systems and other equipment used for production.
  • Support production in studio and virtual.
  • Support the facility by maintaining stages supplies, receiving and organizing deliveries, assist with load in and load out.
  • Painting and other maintenance for the cyc, including lift operation.
  • Contribute to scoping meetings to advise producers and clients regarding workflow, capabilities, production planning and technique.
  • Maintain evergreen knowledge of equipment, facility and stage capabilities as well as crewing needs.
  • Utilize talent to create original lighting cues for production needs.

 

As an Applicant, You Bring

  • 2-4 years working in a production environment; proficient in cameras, lighting, and audio.
  • Experience with remote productions; Teams and NDI.
  • Knowledge of virtual and remote capture via programs like Teams, Zoom, etc.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
  • Experience programing lighting board systems such as GrandMA, etc.
  • A calm demeanor and flexibility during fast paced and high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to changes in equipment, workflow, and schedule.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high quality work.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, ready to provide solutions, you take initiative by providing a plan of action to implement those solutions.
  • Desire to learn and grow.
  • Bias for action.

 

Bonus if You Have

  • Stagehand experience.
  • Proficient signal flow knowledge, light routing knowledge, as well as experience with Tricaster, Black Magic and/or Ross and Grass Valley switchers.
  • Post-production: Understand the needs for post-production to help guide decision making.

Compensation         

Pay Range: $67,000 - $69,524 (Annually)    

The successful candidate’s pay will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.

Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
