Job Description
- A Senior Storage Administrator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and optimizing enterprise storage solutions to ensure high availability, performance, and security. This role involves working with various storage technologies, including SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage solutions.
- Storage Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of storage systems.
- Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize storage performance, ensuring efficient data access and retrieval.
- Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and recovery processes to protect data integrity.
- Security: Ensure storage systems are secure and comply with organizational policies and industry standards.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve storage-related issues promptly.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of storage configurations, processes, and procedures.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to support overall infrastructure needs.
