Titmouse is seeking a Storyboard Artist to join our Paris team for an upcoming 2D animated series. This is an action series based on a comic book. The storyboard artist creates boards illustrating a visual story scene by scene, based on the script and the director's notes. The role involves developing characters, implementing feedback, presenting boards, and ensuring consistency in style and deadlines.
Must Have
- Ability to draw in the production style.
- Strong staging and composition skills.
- Proficiency with Storyboard Pro.
- Work directly with Director, Episode Director, designers, storyboard team, and production team.
- Develop characters throughout the storyboard process.
- Implement all feedback and comments from management.
- Present boards to creative leads and editing.
- Work quickly to generate new ideas or refine boards.
- Refer to storyboard for final designs to ensure requirements are met.
- Meet with creative supervisors to discuss storyboard objectives.
- Communicate progress to creative supervisors and production staff.
- Adhere to document management requirements.
- Meet all deadlines set by Line Producer or Production Manager.
- Create visual drafts, then finalize with detailed drawings.
- Follow directors' instructions for script translation into storyboard.
- Ensure consistency in storyboard work and style across the series.
- Organize Storyboard Pro files according to series requirements.
Good to Have
- Proficiency in FileMaker Pro.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Flash, Photoshop, AfterEffects).
- Proficiency in Google Workplace.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.

Format: Onsite/Hybrid (Paris)
Type of Contract: CDDU (Fixed-Term Contract) or freelance contract if you are based in France
Start Dates: January - February 2026
Reports to: Director, Episodic Director

REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to draw in the production style.
- Strong staging and composition skills.
- Proficiency and experience with Storyboard Pro.
- Proficiency in FileMaker Pro, Adobe Creative Suite, Google Workplace, and MS Office Suite (including Flash, Photoshop, and AfterEffects) is an asset.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, work in a fast-paced production environment, and manage time wisely.
- Ability to work with limited supervision, consider feedback, and evolve storyboards as they progress, according to the schedule.
- Ability to ask relevant questions to understand and complete assigned tasks on time.
- Maintain an open dialogue with production management regarding potential obstacles or concerns related to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent organizational, oral, and written communication skills, as well as good digital fluency and a keen professional sense.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Work directly with the Director, Episode Director, designers, storyboard team, and production team.
- Develop characters throughout the storyboard process.
- Implement all feedback and comments from management as needed for the sequences.
- Present boards to creative leads and editing as requested.
- Work quickly to generate new ideas or refine boards.
- Refer to the storyboard for final designs to ensure requirements are met.
- Meet with creative supervisors to discuss storyboard objectives and what is desired or expected.
- Approach creative supervisors with any issues and ask necessary questions.
- Communicate progress to creative supervisors and relevant production staff.
- Adhere to document management requirements (e.g., file naming and storage) in accordance with production guidelines.
- Meet with all deadlines set by the Line Producer or Production Manager.
- Create visual drafts first, then finalize them with more detailed drawings.
- Follow directors' instructions regarding the translation of the script into a storyboard. Communicate with the production team regarding delivery deadlines.
- Ensure consistency in storyboard work and style across the series.
- Organize Storyboard Pro files according to series requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
