Job Description

An exciting opportunity for a Strategy Analyst to join the Corporate Strategy team at Rolls-Royce. This role involves supporting senior leadership in solving complex business problems, including market assessments, portfolio analysis, and competitive intelligence, to shape the future of the business. The analyst will contribute to Defence and Group Strategic Initiatives and develop formal recommendations for the Executive Team.
Must have:
  • Support Defence and Group Strategic Initiatives
  • Support market and competitive assessments to help inform investment decisions
  • Develop a deep understanding of key US Defence programs and the impact to Rolls-Royce Group
  • Use the art and science of strategy to solve complex business problems
  • Support development of formal recommendations to Executive Team members
  • Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Aerospace or Defense industry experience in marketing strategy OR Master’s/JD/PhD with 0 years of Aerospace or Defense industry experience in strategy or business development
  • Analytical ability to solve complex problems and apply appropriate solutions
  • Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
  • US Permanent Resident or US Citizen

The Strategy team works closely with senior leadership and is trusted to solve complex problems that will shape the future of the business. This individual will support various strategic project including market assessments, portfolio analysis, and competitive intelligence.

Basic Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of Aerospace or Defense industry experience in marketing strategy OR;
  • A Master’s degree with 0 years of Aerospace or Defense industry experience in strategy or business development OR;
  • A JD/PhD with 0 years of Aerospace or Defense industry experience in strategy or business development
  • Analytical ability to solve complex problems and apply appropriate solutions. Proficient with PC and MS Office Suite
  • In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be a US Permanent Resident or US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior consulting experience
  • Aerospace & Defence industry experience
