Your future at ARTELIA Industrie: By joining the Grenoble (38) office, you will be part of a dynamic and ambitious team of 35 Technicians / Engineers, where each project is an opportunity to develop skills and grow in a stimulating environment.
You will work with the Structure team (Civil Engineering, Framework, VRD) on projects in the AURA region and Switzerland, representing about fifty projects per year of various sizes and sectors in collaboration with our Process teams (100 people). Projects concern both new structures and structures to be rehabilitated.

Your missions:
As a Structural Study and Calculation Engineer, and under the responsibility of the Structures Lead, you will be in charge of all or part of the following missions:
- Carry out design studies and structural dimensioning calculations under the responsibility of the Structures Lead and in conjunction with our Group experts if necessary:
- DIAGNOSTICS: Analyze, survey existing structures, characterize problems, write reports
- APS (Preliminary Design Study): Develop multiple technical-economic solutions and estimate them financially (Studies + Works),
- APD (Detailed Preliminary Design): Define the best technical-economic solution, establish study documents, general plans, pre-dimensioning and carry out the final financial estimate,
- PRO / EDD (Project / Detailed Design Study): Establish study documents, general plans and calculation notes,
- ACT (Assistance with Contract Award): Prepare tender documents (DCE) by establishing associated specifications and DPGF, lead consultations and site visits for companies, compare and give technical advice on offers from construction companies,
- VISA (Approval): Verify studies, schedules and execution calculation notes of construction companies,
- DET / OPC / AOR (Execution Monitoring / Project Coordination / Acceptance of Works): Monitor construction companies' work, order and plan the site, technically accept the services of construction companies, manage or assist the client in managing supplements, always be vigilant about site safety.
- Conduct meetings with minutes (kick-off meeting, project meeting, site meeting),
- Plan studies and construction, monitor progress,
- Identify and apply standards, codes, specifications applicable to each project,
- Ensure the need, interpret and apply specialized studies (lead & asbestos diagnostics, soil study, soil pollution, impact studies, ICPE studies, etc.),
- Know, analyze, solve and present to the client the seismic behavior of structures,
- Manage / supervise draftsmen / designers if necessary depending on the projects,
- Stay informed of all technological developments in your field and know how to propose them to our clients.
Qualifications

Your strengths:
You are the ideal candidate if you have a Structural Engineer degree or equivalent and at least 5 years of professional experience in a similar role, acquired in industrial engineering.
You are a person with a synthetic mind and good writing skills, you are technically curious, you are proactive and you enjoy teamwork.
The application of ISO 9001 Quality and MASE procedures is your daily routine. Ensuring safety on sites and/or at our clients' premises is one of your priorities.
You master computer tools such as: ROBOT, Pack Office, MS Project
Knowledge of drawing software (AUTOCAD, TEKLA Structure) is a plus.
Mastered Specifications / Standards / Codes: Eurocodes, DTU, CM66, Seismic.
