This Summer 2026 internship at Motorola Solutions offers a unique opportunity to join the Supply Chain Analytics AI team. Interns will gain hands-on experience across the entire AI solution development lifecycle, from concept to production. The role involves developing, testing, and deploying intelligent systems using Python, working with AWS cloud infrastructure, and productionalizing AI models with CI/CD, IaC, and Docker. Interns will collaborate with experienced engineers and data scientists, contributing to cutting-edge projects aimed at enhancing real-world supply chain operations.
Must have:
  • Develop, test, and deploy AI solutions and features using Python.
  • Work with AWS cloud infrastructure, leveraging services like Lambda, Glue, Bedrock, and SageMaker.
  • Assist in productionalizing AI models and solutions using CI/CD pipelines, IaC principles, and Docker.
  • Participate in team environment, contributing to code reviews and problem-solving.
  • Currently pursuing Master's or Bachelor's in CS, Data Science, Statistics, Math.
  • Proficiency in Python with understanding of Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code principles.
  • Solid understanding of AI and Machine Learning fundamentals, including model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning.
  • Experience with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for version control.
  • Creative problem-solver who can tackle complex and ambiguous challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, explaining technical concepts clearly.

Job Description

Are you passionate about building intelligent systems and deploying them in a real-world environment? Join our AI team as a Summer 2026 intern and get hands-on experience in the entire lifecycle of AI solution development. You'll work alongside experienced engineers and data scientists, contributing to cutting-edge projects and seeing your code go from concept to production.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop and Deploy: Use Python to develop, test, and deploy AI solutions and features.
  • Cloud Engineering: Work with our cloud infrastructure on AWS, leveraging services like Lambda, Glue, Bedrock, and SageMaker to build scalable and robust applications.
  • Productionalization: Assist in the productionalization of AI models and solutions by utilizing CI/CD pipelines, IaC principles, and Docker to ensure they are portable, scalable, and easy to manage.
  • Collaboration: Participate in a supportive team environment, contributing to code reviews, feature discussions, and problem-solving sessions.

What We're Looking For:

  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python is a must, with a strong understanding of libraries like Scikit-learn, Pandas, and NumPy.
  • Familiarity with AWS services is highly desirable. Experience with tools such as AWS Lambda, Glue, Bedrock, SageMaker, CloudWatch, or Elastic Beanstalk is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Docker and containerization concepts.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
  • A solid understanding of AI and Machine Learning fundamentals, including model evaluation and hyperparameter tuning.
  • Experience with Git and platforms like GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket for version control.
  • Proficiency with SQL for data handling (Nice to Have).
  • Problem-Solving & Communication:
  • A creative problem-solver who can tackle complex and ambiguous challenges.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical team members.

Basic Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Master's degree (preferred) or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related technical field with a graduation date no later than Dec. 2029
