SWE Intern (Summer 2026)

CreativeMode is building a vibe coding platform for video game mods, starting with Minecraft. This internship in San Francisco for Summer 2026 offers the chance to build the future of gaming. Interns will have full feature ownership with engineering guidance, contributing to user-favorite features. We seek excellent CS students ready to make an impact.

Must Have

• Strong CS fundamentals (completed algorithms and core coding courses)
• Familiarity with Python, Go, Typescript, or NextJS and software engineering best practices (git)
• Passion for gaming and willingness to engage with our community + users
• Experience building products or personal projects (owning features end to end)

Join us in San Francisco for Summer 2026 to build the future of gaming! CreativeMode is a vibe coding platform for video game mods. Our initial product for Minecraft has already helped thousands of players make mods for Minecraft without coding. We’re looking for excellent candidates studying CS or related fields.

Here’s what might make you a great fit:

• Strong CS fundamentals (completed algorithms and core coding courses)
• Familiarity with Python, Go, Typescript, or NextJS and software engineering best practices (git, Cursor, etc)
• Passion for gaming and willingness to engage with our community + users
• Experience building products or personal projects (ideally owning features end to end)

We’re In-person in SF 5 days a week. We have a beautiful office in Chinatown that we share with several other YC/MIT startups. You’ll be in one of the most focused and talent dense offices in the city.

Compensation: $35-$45/hr
