WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US SimCorp is transforming the way we deliver services to our clients. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled System Architect to participate directly in the technical development of our testing services pipeline designed to support the delivery of our Continuous Testing Service.   WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR 

• Understanding the composition and high-level technical architecture of the SimCorp Ecosystem 

• Ownership of architecture roadmap and runway for Testing Platform & Azure Pipeline Automation

• Technical leadership in transitioning from legacy to modern testing approaches 

• SaaS infrastructure ownership for the Testing Services department 

• Ownership of security aspects within Testing Services 

• Leadership of activities related to maintenance and enhancements of integrated test infrastructure, including AI solutions, enabling business scalability and robustness 

• Actively cultivate principles of pipeline driven organizations
• Active contribution to the testing strategy to bring technical architecture perspective

• Alignment with Platform teams/architects to ensure fluent onboarding of new capabilities/changes

WHAT WE VALUE

• 3+ year experience in software architecture 

• 5+ year experience of software development in the following object-oriented and script languages: .NET C# 

• Practical experience with CI/CD tools, including Azure DevOps  

• Comprehensive experience in scripting with Powershell  

• Comprehensive understanding of modern engineering practices (SOLID, XP, etc.)  

• Experience in BDD test automation  

• Clear understanding of the SDLC, STLC and test principles 

• Understanding cloud platforms and N-tier application architecture 

• Expert background in software & cloud architecture  

• Experience in DevSecOps, integrating security into CI/CD pipelines and software development processes  

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
