Job Description

As a Team Lead in the Ubisoft Data Office (UDO), you will drive the Production Intelligence initiative, supporting video game production teams with data-driven insights and tools. You will bridge business and technical teams, translating needs into effective solutions. Responsibilities include defining product vision, gathering requirements, prioritizing requests, managing the product backlog, monitoring KPIs, creating Power BI dashboards, ensuring data reliability, facilitating agile ceremonies, and leading a team of 5.
Must have:
  • Define product vision and roadmap based on needs and priorities.
  • Gather and analyze team and user needs to propose new indicators and features.
  • Evaluate and prioritize requests based on relevance, efficiency, costs, and deadlines.
  • Translate business needs into technical-functional specifications and validate them.
  • Manage the product backlog (user stories, detailed tasks) ensuring prioritization.
  • Define and monitor performance metrics (KPIs) aligned with business objectives.
  • Exploit and transform data from multiple sources for relevant analyses via Power BI dashboards.
  • Design and execute test scenarios to ensure data flow and new feature reliability.
  • Plan and facilitate agile rituals, regular presentations, and ensure clear communication.
  • Supervise, support, and develop a team of 5 collaborators.
  • Proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools (Power BI or Tableau), as well as data management and quality practices.
  • Proven experience in team management, with demonstrated skills in leadership, coaching, and employee development.
  • Ability to influence and advise stakeholders at different hierarchical levels, building lasting trust relationships.
  • Solid experience working cross-functionally and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Confirmed practice of Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) for structuring projects, facilitating rituals, and ensuring continuous value delivery.
  • Strong analytical and strategic capacity, allowing the transformation of complex needs into concrete, effective, and sustainable solutions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Within the Ubisoft Data Office (UDO) department, you will participate in the Production Intelligence initiative, which aims to support video game production teams in their decisions and strategies through monitoring and analysis tools. Our products allow them to build collective intelligence by cross-referencing data from multiple sources and collaborating across several teams.

Your role will be to liaise between business teams and technical teams to identify and analyze needs autonomously, then transform them into effective and sustainable solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Define the product vision and roadmap based on needs and priorities.
  • Gather and analyze the needs of teams and users to propose new indicators and functionalities.
  • Evaluate and prioritize requests based on their relevance, efficiency, costs, and deadlines.
  • Translate business needs into technical-functional specifications and validate them with developers and architects.
  • Feed and manage the product backlog (user stories, detailed tasks) ensuring their prioritization.
  • Define and monitor performance measures and indicators (KPIs) aligned with business objectives.
  • Exploit and transform data from multiple sources to produce relevant analyses and make them available via dashboards with Power BI.
  • Design and execute test scenarios to guarantee the reliability of data flows and new functionalities.
  • Plan and facilitate agile rituals, regular presentations, and ensure clear communication (documentation, follow-up, knowledge sharing).
  • Supervise, support, and develop a team of 5 collaborators.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in data visualization and analysis tools (Power BI or Tableau), as well as data management and quality practices.
  • Proven experience in team management, with demonstrated skills in leadership, coaching, and employee development.
