Job Summary

The Sound Designer Assistant intern will work daily with the Lead Sound Designer and the project's Sound Design team. Their missions will include creating, designing, and editing original audio content for the game and new content, considering technical constraints and expected performance. They will also participate in sound design and editing game assets (voices, UI, ambiances, music, cinematics, etc.) and collaborate with team members to integrate audio into internal tools.

Must Have

  • Create, design, and edit original audio content for the game.

  • Have participated in sound design for a video game project.
  • Knowledge of DAW software (Pro Tools, Reaper, Cubase, Ableton).

The Sound Designer intern will work daily with the Lead Sound Designer and the project's Sound Design team.

Their missions will be as follows:

  • Create, design, and edit original audio content to provide sound for the game and the new content proposed, taking into account technical constraints and expected performance.
  • Participate in the sound design and editing of game assets (voices, UI, ambiances, music, cinematics, etc.).
  • Collaborate with other team members to integrate audio into our internal tools.

Qualifications

  • Have already participated in the sound design of a video game project (student project, personal project, first professional experience...).
  • Knowledge of DAW software (Pro Tools, Reaper, Cubase, Ableton...) and Wwise.
  • Knowledge of various techniques and plugins dedicated to audio post-production.
  • Good communication skills, adaptability, ability to work in a team, and to iterate.
