Job Summary
Gravity Well is seeking a highly organized Associate Producer to join their remote team. This role involves supporting cross-functional groups with goal-setting and task tracking, collaborating on team operations like retrospectives and playtests, and championing clarity and progress. The Producer will also work to improve task management and reporting systems within a mid-sized team, balancing indie-like gap-filling with AAA-level stakeholder coordination, all within a non-crunch environment.
Must Have
- Support cross-functional groups with goal-setting and task tracking.
- Collaborate on team operations like retrospectives, playtests, calendars, and chat channels.
- Champion clarity and progress, fostering alignment on priorities and direction.
- Work with the production team to improve and refine task management and reporting systems.
- Work on a mid-sized team (max 85), filling gaps and coordinating stakeholders.
- 1-5 years experience working in games production.
- Experience working with UX, design, or cross-functional feature teams.
- Understanding of a feature development lifecycle.
- Strong organization skills.
- Comfort engaging proactively with teammates.
- Drive to identify and chase down problems.
Good to Have
- Experience working in a remote / distributed team environment.
- Multiplayer game experience.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and passion for fostering consensus or shared understanding.
- Experience with Jira or with setting up workflows and dashboards in another task management tool.

Job Description
We are looking for a highly organized Producer (Associate to Mid-Level) to join us here at Gravity Well.

What You'll Do:
- Support one or more cross functional groups with goal-setting and task tracking.
- Collaborate with the production team on other team operations like retrospectives, playtests, calendars, chat channels.
- Champion clarity and progress. Foster alignment on priorities and direction across disciplines.
- Work with the production team to improve & refine our task management and reporting systems.
- Work on a mid-sized team (max 85), so you’ll fill a lot of gaps like an indie, but coordinate a lot of stakeholders like a AAA.
- NOT crunch or work overtime.
Ideally You'll Have:
- Some experience (1-5 years) working in games production.
- Experience working with UX, design, or cross-functional feature teams, and some understanding of a feature development lifecycle.
- Strong organization skills.
- Comfort engaging proactively with teammates.
- Drive to get things done: both the insight to identify problems, and the mettle to chase them down.
Bonus Points:
- Experience working in a remote / distributed team environment.
- Multiplayer game experience.
- Ability to facilitate meetings and passion for fostering consensus (or at least a shared understanding).
- Experience with Jira or with setting up workflows & dashboards in another task management tool.
What You’ll Get:
The base pay for this role is:
- Associate Producer: $75,000 to $100,000
- Producer: $100,000 to $125,000 USD per year;
(or equivalent in your local currency). We pay fairly across our global team regardless of your location but it will differ based on factors such as experience, qualifications etc.

Where You'll Work:
This position is for US and Canadian residents. We have an office in California if you like to come to an office, but most employees work from home across different US time zones and that's totally fine.
