Job Summary
Gravity Well is seeking an experienced Senior QA Analyst to help build and shape best practices within the Quality Assurance team. This role involves test planning, execution, and root cause analysis for client, server, and platform technologies. The ideal candidate will identify testing challenges, create documentation, and work embedded with a development team, becoming a key QA point of contact. The position requires 3+ years of game QA experience, shipping AAA titles, and proficiency with various testing and development tools.
Must Have
- Test planning, execution, and root cause analysis for Client, Server, and Platform technologies
- Identify testing challenges and work towards improvement
- Create documentation for testing techniques
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans/checklists
- Performance testing across multiple platforms
- Work embedded with a development team as a main QA point of contact
- 3+ years of game quality assurance experience in a senior or higher role
- Shipped 1 or more AAA titles
- Experience with debugging tools
- Experience conducting performance testing and configuring common performance related tools
- Intermediate proficiency of Unreal Engine
- Proficiency with Perforce
- Knowledge of Testing/Planning Tools such as Jira

- Experience with console certification process
- Automation testing and scripting experience

Job Description

What You'll Do:
- Test planning, execution, and root cause analysis of issues for Client, Server, and Platform technologies.
- Identify testing challenges and work towards improvement.
- Create documentation for testing techniques.
- Identify patterns that can lead to repeat problems.
- Create, maintain, and execute test plans/checklists.
- Performance testing across multiple platforms.
- Work embedded with a development team, becoming a main QA point of contact for a feature or discipline.
Ideally You'll Have:
- 3+ years of game quality assurance experience in a senior or higher role.
- Shipped 1 or more AAA titles.
- Experience with debugging tools.
- Experience conducting performance testing and configuring common performance related tools across multiple platforms.
- Intermediate proficiency of Unreal Engine.
- Proficiency with Perforce.
- Knowledge of Testing/Planning Tools such as Jira.
Bonus Points:
- Experience with console certification process

What You’ll Get:
- The base pay for this role is $95,000 to $110,000 per year (or equivalent in your local currency). We pay fairly across our global team regardless of your location but it will differ based on factors such as experience, qualifications, etc.

Where You'll Work:
This position is for US and Canadian residents. We have an office in California if you like to come to an office, but most employees work from home across different US time zones and that’s totally fine.
