Job Summary
Take part in the sound endeavor to deliver an inspiring audio experience to the players. Responsibilities include producing high-quality sound design, implementing audio mechanics, performing recordings, defining technical standards, optimizing systems, managing audio content, providing artistic guidance, and ensuring timely deliveries and quality assurance.
Must Have
- Proficiency in implementing audio across levels, animations, cinematics, scripted sequences, blueprint-style scripts, data tables, ambient actors, volumes, triggers, and similar systems
- Strong proficiency in using both visual and text-based scripting tools for audio integration and behavior
- Strong knowledge of middleware solutions such as Wwise
- Strong knowledge of recording techniques, foley sound creation and on location recording
- High level of familiarity with audio software such as Protools, Reaper, Nuendo, Sound Forge, Wavelab & VST plugins
- Experience delivering for Xbox X/PS5 & any other platforms
- Strong knowledge of Perforce, JIRA, Agile methodology
- Sound editing & recording Daws (Reaper, ProTools, Vegas, ...)
- Audio Mastering softwares (e.g. Wavelab)
- Sound design & audio production/mastering VST plugins
- Wwise
- Sound Library management & previewing softwares (Soundly, SoundMiner, Basehead etc.)

Job Description
*This role is open to candidates based in Canada only*
Main goal of the role:
Take part in the sound endeavour to deliver an inspiring audio experience to the players.
Collaboration within the studio:
Work with all departments of the project including Design, Art, Animation and Code
Duties:
- Produce high-quality sound design using custom recordings and library material to generate original audio.
- Design & construct playback & implementation mechanics for the target audio content & features.
- Perform on-location & foley recording if needed.
- Responsibility for several audio sub disciplines (e.g. Environmental audio, in game characters, cutscenes, etc.).
- Define & maintain technical standards for sessions & assets.
- Ensure proper optimisation of all related systems & content based on technical guidelines & budgets.
- Edit, convert, implement and manage large volumes of audio content.
- Act as a reference point for the other Sound
- Designers, providing feedback & artistic guidance.
- Initiate & take part in audio spotting & review play sessions with the audio team.
- Ensure deliveries within the production deadlines and schedules.
- Audio play-testing (on target platforms) and audio quality assurance.
- Identify, report, help prioritize and resolve audio bugs/issues.
- Define & promote improvements for R&D projects, pipeline and workflows.
- Support Lead/Director in the recruitment process with HR collaboration.
Qualifications
Must have qualifications:
