Job Description
Main Goal of the Role
Align a multidisciplinary team of artists and developers to craft and maintain a compelling art style that synergizes with the intended creative direction of the game and delights players.
Collaboration Within the Studio

Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain a cohesive art style aligned with the creative vision of the game.
- Provide clear, timely feedback to internal and external artists and vendors.
- Partner with the Technical Art Director to build and evolve efficient art pipelines that meet visual and performance goals.
- Act as the gatekeeper for visual quality through daily reviews and milestone check-ins.
- Mentor and develop internal and external art teams, fostering growth and high standards.
- Coordinate with production and leads to ensure external vendors meet quality targets and milestone deadlines.
- Consolidate and present feedback for internal and external reviews.
Recruit and evaluate new talent for the Art department in collaboration with HR and Recruitment.
Qualifications
Must Have:
- 8–10+ years of AAA console/PC game development experience, including leadership roles.
- Proven experience shipping at least one AAA title from start to finish.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating artistic creativity across multiple game art disciplines.
- Strong 2D and concept art skills, with expert knowledge of Photoshop.
- Proficiency with industry-standard 3D software (Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush, Illustrator).
- Solid understanding of composition, anatomy, and art theory.
- Technical mindset with experience implementing assets in game engines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team across disciplines.
