Job Description

The role of Sales Team Leader is to drive business in the assigned area of operations by growing distribution and market share. Responsibilities include ensuring visibility and accountability through QR code and sound box deployment, identifying and recruiting sales teams, and coaching and mentoring field executives. The ideal candidate will have 2-8 years of experience in sales and distribution or business development, preferably from Direct Sales, B2B, Telecom, FMCG, Fintech, or Device sales domains. The position requires a graduate or MBA qualification and involves managing 10-20 field executives, planning market strategies, and monitoring team performance and audits.
Must have:
  • 2-8 years of relevant sales experience
  • Experience in sales and distribution/business development
  • Graduation or MBA qualification
  • Ability to grow distribution and market share
  • Skilled in coaching and mentoring
  • Ability to identify and recruit sales team
Good to have:
  • Experience in Direct Sales, B2B, Telecom, FMCG, Fintech or Device sales domain
  • Plan market size, span, and geographies
  • Devise communication methods for plans/targets
  • Monitor quality parameters and conduct audits
  • Ensure team members are in the market for sales and usage

Expectations/ Requirements

Candidates from Direct Sales, B2B, Telecom, FMGC, Fintech or Device sales domain will be preferred.

 Experience: 2-8 years of relevant experience in sales and distribution/ business development.

Qualification – Graduation / MBA

Matrix : The role will report to the Area Sales Manager(ASM) and will have 10-20 field executives as direct reports.

1.Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
2. Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product
3. Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
4. Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned  ideas and concepts
5. Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE
6. Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap
7. Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management
8. Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team
9. Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done
