About Us:
OverActive Media is a leader in the esports industry, committed to building a dynamic and inclusive environment. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Team Manager for our Movistar KOI League of LEC, who will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless operations in alignment with OverActive Media’s policies.

Position Overview:
As the Team Manager, League of Legends, you will collaborate closely with our Team Operations Department and LEC Head Coach while also managing your own projects independently to meet the fast-paced demands of our organization. This role requires a proactive individual with a deep understanding of esports and a commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Operations

  • Oversee daily operations and logistics for the Movistar KOI LEC franchise, including housing, travel, meals, scheduling, and training camps.
  • Manage player equipment needs, including PCs, peripherals, uniforms, and sponsor-provided items.
  • Supervise contracted support staff, such as cleaning services and personal trainers.
  • Facilitate seamless communication between coaching staff, players, and support teams.

Team Personnel & Financial Administration

  • Develop and manage budgets in collaboration with the Head Coach and Senior Management.
  • Track and administer payroll, prize money, and performance bonuses for the LEC team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting.
  • Maintain up-to-date player records, including contracts and behavioral reports.

Business & League Administration

  • Monitor player social media to uphold organizational and partnership standards, addressing any concerns with the OAM Marketing/PR Team.
  • Coordinate with coaches to manage player responsibilities beyond gaming.
  • Represent the team at tournaments and events, supporting players and coaches.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the team and the League throughout the competitive season.

Requirements

Qualifications and Experience

  • Degree or diploma in Sports Management, Business Management, or a related field is an asset.
  • Experience in esports and/or team operations is highly desirable.

Skills and Abilities

  • Deep passion and knowledge of League of Legends trends and game updates.
  • Fluency in German (C1 or higher) is required.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, and communication skills, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing schedules and priorities.
  • Hands-on problem solver with strong attention to detail and critical thinking abilities.
  • Thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments and can manage multiple projects simultaneously.
