Job Description

As a Technical Product Manager II at PlayStation, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of gaming. You'll be part of the Partner and Data Products team, innovating and managing technical products for creators and partners. Responsibilities include defining new products, setting product vision and long-term strategy, and collaborating across multiple technical domains. You'll lead product vision for technical and professional products enabling content creators and developers, owning the end-to-end roadmap for tools, SDKs, and APIs. This role requires strong collaboration with engineering, design, research, and PMO teams. A background in game development (network services preferred) and product management is essential.

Technical Product Manager II

As a part of Partner and Data Products team, you will innovate and manage technical products for creators and partners, ensuring our platforms meet and exceed the expectations of our diverse and vibrant community. You will define new products with industry-wide impact, set product vision and long-term strategy, and work cross-functionally across multiple technical domains. Responsibilities:

  • Lead product vision on technical & professional products that enable content creators & developers to bring the best games to PlayStation 

  • Own & drive an end-to-end roadmap that advances and accelerates the craft of content creation that ranges from tools, SDK, to APIs and more. 

  • Work with leaders from various world-class engineering teams & professionals in the game development & game platform business 

  • Drive the execution of your vision & strategy, collaborating across engineering, design, research and PMO.
     

Requirements:

  • Background in game development (network service ideal), either as a game developer, tester, producer or development director type roles.

  • 3+ years of game industry experience 

  • 3+ years of product management or product owner experience (or equivalent role/experience within a game development team)

  • Background in technical solutions & products, as well as software/network engineering 

  • Passion for the craft of game & content creation 

  • Multi-platform experience is ideal.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. 

In addition, this role

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.

$129,900 - $194,900 USD
