Poppulo is seeking a Technical Program Manager to join its recently established TPM team. This role is crucial for driving the growth of the software company, focusing on delivery and release plan management, strategic program management, establishing a Professional Excellence Office, and improving operational capabilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering complex programs, a deep understanding of software products, and the ability to collaborate across teams to ensure timely project completion and innovative solutions.
Must have:
  • Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Understand company's software products and architecture to address technical challenges.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, sales, and product management.
  • Monitor and manage project progress and communicate updates effectively.
  • 8+ years of experience, with 5+ years as a Technical Program Manager.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s/University degree in Computer Science or relevant technical discipline.
Good to have:
  • Experience in building or supporting SaaS-based products/companies.
  • Driving large and complex IT Transformation programs.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.

The Opportunity

As a recently established Technical Program Management team (TPM) now is a fantastic time to join and put your mark on the DNA of how we work. At Poppulo, the TPM team is responsible for 4 key areas across Product & Technology:

  • Delivery & Release Plan Management
  • Program Management of key strategic initiatives
  • Establish Professional Excellence Office
  • Drive Operational Capability Improvements

We are looking for a Technical Program Manager with experience in delivering complex programmes to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain program plans, schedules, and deliverables, ensuring projects are completed on time.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and requirements.
  • Foster a deep understanding of the company's software products and architecture to effectively address technical challenges and customer needs.
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions and collaborate with technical leads to explore innovative solutions for complex technical issues.
  • Act as a liaison between technical teams, sales, product management, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals and priorities.
  • Proactively monitor and manage project progress and communicate updates effectively.
  • Create comprehensive presentations for various audiences to communicate project status and strategic initiatives.

Experience Required

  • 8+ Years of Experience and 5+ Yrs as a TPM
  • Experience in building or supporting SaaS-based products/companies is highly preferred.
  • Customer-focused mindset with the ability to empathize with customer pain points and translate them into actionable project requirements.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess complex technical information and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills to develop effective solutions for technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management, including planning, execution, and delivery of complex software projects.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Bachelor’s/University degree in Computer Science or a relevant technical discipline.
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and their applicability to software development projects.
  • Experience collaborating with remote teams and working autonomously.
  • Proven ability to drive organizational and cross-functional alignment to achieve project objectives.
  • Track record of success in a fast-paced software company environment.
  • Flexibility to handle a range of responsibilities, projects, and programs.
  • Metrics-driven, with a strong quantitative and analytical mindset.
  • Experience in leading and influencing teams to achieve project goals.
  • Ability to distill complex technical information into clear insights.
