DreamWorks Animation is seeking a Technology Communications & Events Intern for Spring 2026. This part-time hybrid role involves assisting the Technology Department with communications, event planning, and special projects. Interns will support development on wikis, websites, video production, and graphic design, gaining exposure to daily tech activities and production workflows. The program offers hands-on experience in TV and Feature animated productions, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture for students and recent graduates passionate about animation.
Good To Have:
  • Multi-faceted skill set with experience in event planning/project management, graphic design, and public communications
  • Proficiency in software like Adobe Creative Cloud especially Photoshop, Google Apps (Docs, Sheets)
  • Experience with Jira (or similar), Word Press (or similar CMS), Microsoft Office
Must Have:
  • Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date)
  • Self-motivated and detailed approach to problem solving
  • Ability to manage and track a variety of tasks
  • Very strong organizational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be willing to work in Glendale, California
  • Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship

Job Description

“What would you say you do here?”

  • Assist with a wide range of projects for the Technology Department ranging from assisting with communication to Technology, Production, and the Studio; event planning and execution; other special projects
  • Work closely with the team and support development on departmental wikis and websites, video production projects, and graphic design assignments
  • Gain exposure to daily activities of the Technology department, event management, and an understanding of Production workflows and strategies.

Hourly Rate: $17.87

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
