Job Description

This role involves contributing to a SME (Small and Medium Enterprise) switching series with a focus on wireless technologies. Key responsibilities include porting code to new hardware platforms, ensuring the cnSwitching feature set functions correctly, developing new applications, and providing input for feature definitions. The specialist will also be responsible for fixing Work Items (WIs) logged during the PV cycle of software releases, sustaining efforts, fixing Change Requests (CRs), and redesigning or enhancing existing software modules within the codebase.

Good To Have:

Linux system programming experience
Network processor programming
Implementing network protocols based on specifications
WEB design/technologies experience

Must Have:

Porting the code to new hardware platforms, getting the cnSwitching feature set working on this new hardware.

Providing input in defining these features.

C language.
Concurrent, Distributed, Embedded, System programming.
Ethernet-based: all IEEEs [802.1w,s,q,p.... 802.3ad,af...]
L3 protocols
TCP/IP stack, dynamic protocols (RIP, OSPF)

Nice to have

Linux system programming experience
Network processor programming
Implementing network protocols based on specifications
WEB design/technologies experience
