This role is for a seasoned Territory Sales Representative focusing on Manufacturing, requiring Portuguese language skills. The individual will manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting new small and medium-sized businesses (SMB) and Enterprise accounts to nurturing existing ones, generating new revenue, and expanding opportunities through up-selling and cross-selling Autodesk products. Responsibilities include understanding customer needs, promoting SaaS solutions, providing excellent customer experience, and orchestrating sales via channel partners. The position is hybrid, based in San Jose, Costa Rica, and requires a proven track record in B2B consultative selling of complex software.
Must have:
  • At least 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas.
  • College/University bachelor’s degree.
  • Quota-carrying sales experience selling complex SaaS technology solutions.
  • Previous B2B sales experience selling to SMB or Enterprise accounts.
  • Proven experience using Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated success in a structured, disciplined sales environment, including strategic and collaborative selling.
  • Experience selling through channel partners.
  • Experience forecasting and reporting on territory/account activity.
  • Proficiency in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
  • Ability to prospect and sell complex software products and services to new and existing SMB/Enterprise customers.
  • Capability to understand prospect needs and market aligned solutions.
  • Skill in promoting and educating on subscription-based software license models.
  • Commitment to providing the best customer experience.
  • Aptitude for expanding opportunities through up-selling and cross-selling Autodesk products.

Position Overview

If you are a seasoned sales professional with extensive experience in identifying and developing new accounts, as well as nurturing existing accounts in a B2B consultative selling environment, this is the perfect opportunity for you! You will manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing new accounts and identifying areas for providing additional value to existing accounts. Additionally, you will orchestrate sales through channel partners and resellers. You will report to the Director of Inside Sales.

Responsibilities

  • B2B territory sales with a focus on prospecting and selling complex software products and services to new small and medium-sized business (SMB) and Enterprise customers, thereby generating net new revenue while growing existing revenue
  • Understand the prospect's needs and market solutions that align with those needs
  • Uncover and understand customer requirements to recommend and sell Autodesk products or industry solutions
  • Promote and educate both customers and channel partners on selling software as a service in a subscription-based software license model
  • Provide the best customer experience
  • Expand opportunities and increase average deal sizes by up-selling add-ons and cross-selling a proven and customer-loved portfolio of Autodesk products
  • Present accurate sales forecasts and achieve sales targets
  • Account planning (including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, business justifications, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long-range account management strategies)

Required Languages: Spanish, English and Portuguese

Minimum Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of sales experience with a proven track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving significant revenue growth
  • College/University bachelor’s degree
  • Quota-carrying sales experience selling complex technology solutions, particularly in SaaS
  • Previous B2B sales experience selling to SMB or Enterprise accounts
  • Proven experience using Salesforce
  • Demonstrated success in a structured, disciplined sales environment that includes strategic and collaborative/team selling
  • Experience selling through channel partners
  • Experience forecasting and reporting on territory/account activity
  • Relentless focus on learning our industries to consistently exceed sales targets
