Job Summary

The Marketing Intern, based in Beijing, will work closely with the local marketing team on marketing campaigns through creative marketing activities on social media platforms for all new movie releases for the China market. This intern will also support internally and cross-functionally to ensure the successful launch of digital marketing campaigns. The internship requires a commitment of at least 6 months, with 3-4 working days per week physically on-site.

Must Have

  • Assist with creative planning of short video content, script writing, official account management, and online/offline marketing activities.
  • Support multi-channel content distribution, data tracking, and preliminary analysis of advertising effectiveness.
  • Monitor online public opinion, competitor activities, and market trends; contribute to daily and weekly reports.
  • Strong creative thinking, copywriting, and planning execution skills.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Deep understanding of Douyin and Bilibili platforms' content dissemination and user interaction.
  • English CET-6 level or above, with reading and writing proficiency.
  • Appropriate immigration permission to work as an intern and reside in Beijing, China.
  • Commitment to at least a 6-month internship, with 3-4 working days per week physically on-site.

Good to Have

  • Relevant internship experience in content planning, data, or public opinion.
  • Experience with video editing or image processing software like Premiere Pro or Jianying.
  • Educational background in journalism, communication, marketing, film, advertising, or related fields.

Overview:

The Marketing Intern, based in Beijing, will work closely with the local marketing team on marketing campaigns through creative marketing activities on social media platforms for all new movie releases for the China market. This intern will also support internally and cross-functionally to ensure the successful launch of digital marketing campaigns.

In order to enable us to meet the statutory and regulatory obligations of the Beijing immigration system, you must have the appropriate immigration permission needed to work as intern and reside in Beijing, China for the duration of the Internship.

Internship Period and Attendance Requirement:

To be considered for a marketing internship in our Beijing office, you will be available and committed to at least a 6-month internship, with 3-4 working days per week physically on-site.

Responsibilities:

  • Planning and Execution: Assist the team with creative planning of short video content, script writing, official account management, and the implementation of online/offline marketing activities.
  • Advertising Support: Assist in multi-channel content distribution and data tracking, as well as collect and conduct preliminary analysis of advertising effectiveness.
  • Public Opinion Monitoring: Assist in monitoring and compiling online public opinion related to the project, competitor activities, and market trends, and participate in writing daily and weekly reports.

Requirement:

  • Content Planning Ability: Strong creative thinking, copywriting, and planning execution skills. Relevant internship experience is a plus.
  • Sensitivity to Data and Public Opinion: Curious about data changes and online trends, with basic skills in information gathering, summarizing, and analysis. Relevant internship experience is a plus.
  • Software Skills: Proficient in using office software such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; experience with video editing or image processing software like Premiere Pro or Jianying is preferred.
  • Platform Familiarity: Deep understanding of content dissemination characteristics, community culture, and user interaction patterns on mainstream short video and mid-to-long video platforms like Douyin and Bilibili; an active and engaged user.
  • Industry Passion and Insight: Interested in theatrical films and online movie content ecosystems, with a strong enthusiasm and some observational experience in the film industry and content marketing.
  • Personal Qualities: Detail-oriented and conscientious, with a strong sense of responsibility, good learning ability, teamwork spirit, and ability to work under pressure.
  • Educational Background: Current university students pursuing a bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in journalism, communication, marketing, film, advertising, or related fields.
  • Language Skills: CET-6 level or above in English, with reading and writing proficiency.
