Translation Representative

As a Translation Representative at Tamatem, you will be responsible for the translation and localization of game content, marketing materials, and communication assets. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that our content resonates with the MENA audience, providing an authentic and engaging gaming experience.

You will:

• Translate in-game text, dialogue, marketing materials, and other gaming-related content from Arabic to English and vice versa.
• Adapt translations to ensure it resonates with Arabic-speaking gamers while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Assist in proofreading and editing translated content to ensure consistency and fluency.
• Collaborate with the other teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Assist in other localization tasks and projects as needed.
• Conduct thorough reviews and revisions to align content with the target audience's cultural preferences.
• Deeply understand the cultural nuances and preferences of the MENA audience to ensure that game content is culturally relevant and engaging.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, language developments, and cultural shifts in the MENA region to inform translation and localization strategies.

• Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, English Literature, or a related field.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.
• Previous experience in translation or localization is preferred but not required. (0-2 years of experience)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors and inconsistencies.
•  A strong understanding of Arabic grammar to ensure accuracy and coherence in translations.
• Eagerness to learn new skills.
• Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of gaming culture and terminology.
• Creative thinker with an ability to adapt style to suit various gaming genres and audiences.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in translation tools is a plus.
