Job Summary

Within the Corporate Accounting Department, the Treasury Accounting intern will be responsible for monitoring bank reconciliations and recording treasury flows. They will work closely with colleagues from other departments, both operational and support, within the Accounting Department. Key responsibilities include bank reconciliations, recording treasury flows, research and analysis of treasury operations, account reconciliation and control, and assisting with monthly accounting statements.

Must Have

THE DEPARTMENT

You will be attached to the Corporate Accounting Department of ACCOR SA and 20 of its subsidiaries under the direct supervision of the Finance & Cash Pole Accounting Manager. You will work within the scope of Accor SA and its subsidiaries.

The Accounting Department, whose main objective is to produce relevant, regular, and sustainable financial information, is composed of about forty dynamic employees, divided into 6 Poles.

The Finance & Cash Pole is composed of 9 employees including the manager.

Within the Corporate Accounting Department, the Treasury Accounting intern will monitor bank reconciliations and record treasury flows.

He/she will work in close collaboration with employees from other Poles, whether operational or support, of the Accounting Department.

Under the supervision of the Finance & Cash Pole Manager, your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Performing and monitoring bank reconciliations
  • Recording treasury flows: bank transfers, cash pooling transfers, bank charges, various entries
  • Research and analysis of treasury operations
  • Reconciling and controlling accounts (third-party, bank, various operations)
  • Assisting in preparing monthly accounting statements
  • Participate in improving accounting processes and filing supporting documents
  • Occasional contribution to cross-functional missions of the department

This list is not exhaustive.

The position is based in Evry (Accor Group's historical headquarters). Occasional travel to the headquarters located in Issy-Les-Moulineaux is to be expected.

Qualifications

Student in Finance / Accounting / Management Control / Hospitality (Bac+2 to Bac+5).

Ideal internship for a profile seeking solid first experience in accounting fundamentals.

Your organization, rigor, autonomy, as well as your ability to work in a cross-functional team, will allow you to successfully carry out the missions entrusted to you.

You demonstrate initiative and dynamism. Your interpersonal skills, sense of service, and team spirit will be essential for meeting deadlines and procedures.

You are comfortable with Excel, and knowledge of an accounting ERP is a plus.

Proficiency in English would be appreciated.

Exposure to sensitive Group data necessarily implies impeccable discretion.
