They are hiring a UI Designer to support these teams, creating intuitive and engaging user interfaces across multiple platforms. The role involves collaborating with designers, developers, and artists, focusing on consistent, high-quality UI elements for live ops updates and new features in a fast-paced, remote environment.
Must Have
- 3-5 years of professional experience in UI design for video games.
- Experience shipping game interfaces to market, with a portfolio demonstrating intuitive UI flows and visual consistency.
- Proficiency in design tools like Figma and familiarity with game engines (e.g., Unity) for implementation.
- Solid understanding of UI principles for multi-platform experiences, including VR/AR restrictions and mobile/console adaptations.
- Design and iterate UI elements ensuring consistency, usability, and alignment with game mechanics.
- Collaborate with Lead UX/UI Designer, developers, and artists to implement interfaces supporting retention, progression, and onboarding.
- Adapt UI to multiple platforms, considering input methods, performance budgets, and accessibility needs.
- Conduct playtests and refine designs with feedback, focusing on "feel" and engagement.
- Document designs (wireframes, flows, specifications) for team handoff and iteration.
- Support live ops updates and new features, contributing to a smooth user experience.

The Role

This position reports to the Lead UX/UI Designer and focuses on implementing consistent, high-quality UI elements, adapting to the needs of each project. You will work in a fast-paced environment, contributing to both live ops updates and new features.
