Job Summary

As a UI/UX Designer at HyperHug, an international game development company, you will lead the end-to-end UI/UX strategy for in-game systems, menus, HUDs, and interactions. You will design intuitive interfaces using Unity and Figma, create wireframes and prototypes, and define scalable UI systems. Collaboration with game design, art, and engineering teams is key, along with using analytics and user feedback to refine designs for our games, played by over 50 million people worldwide.

Must Have

  • 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design within game development (with focus on mid-core/hardcore mobile games or PC/consoles)
  • Strong understanding of usability principles, game interface flow, and player psychology
  • Extensive experience with Figma
  • Ability to combine artistic sensibility with technical implementation needs
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

Job Overview

As UI/UX Designer, you will own the end-to-end user interface and user experience strategy across all in-game systems, menus, HUDs, and interactions. You’ll work closely with game designers, artists and engineers to deliver intuitive, beautiful, and responsive UI across multiple platforms.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Drive the vision, execution, and polish of UI/UX across our games using Unity and Figma.
  • Design intuitive in-game HUDs, menus, inventories, skill trees, and onboarding flows that elevate the player experience.
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and production-ready UI assets using Figma and Unity UI systems.
  • Define and maintain scalable UI systems, templates, and style guides for consistency across games.
  • Collaborate with game design, art, and engineering teams to ensure smooth implementation of interactive elements.
  • Use analytics, playtesting, and user feedback to iterate and refine UI/UX design across development stages.

What we expect from you:
