About the job
Designed and developed consumer grade applications/games in Unity3D.
Built reusable, high-quality code, and libraries for future use which can be used across multiple
projects.
Proactively communicated and collaborated with Lead Architects to analyze information needs and
functional requirements and help the Lead Architect in development planning, code review,
architecture review, test and debug.
Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose
high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general
understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs
Successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
Drive and challenge product units on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their
plans
Agile software delivery process using JIRA (including breaking down work into modular tasks,
updating/tracking task status/work log entries for sprint management), Gerrit/Git (source code
management including branching strategy, code review) and Automation Tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Game Design, Game Development or relevant
field.
7+ Years of Experience in game/application development.
5+ Years of Experience in Unity3D based game development.
3+ Years of Experience in delivering high-quality consumer applications/games built using Unity3D,
preferably over mobile platforms.
Proven experience of managing and mentoring a team of 5+ Unity3D developers as senior or lead
role.
Advanced C#/C++ knowledge with architecture and design patterns.
Solid OOPs programming skills and design patterns.
Strong mathematical skills, knowledge of vectors, matrices, and linear algebra.
Strong knowledge of designing state machines and multi-level games/applications in Unity3D.
Experience in maintaining Performance & Optimisation in Unity3D Applications.
Strong knowledge of Networking APIs in Unity3D.
