UX Designer (Project Based)

We are seeking a UX/UI Designer at Amber to shape the user experience of a Java-based desktop application for hardware device profiling and benchmarking. This role involves designing workflows, interactions, and interfaces to transform complex data into intuitive user experiences. You will collaborate with engineers and product stakeholders, taking designs from concept through validation, ensuring usability and consistency across the application. Key responsibilities include defining user flows, interaction models, and interface layouts, and refining designs based on feedback.

Must Have

• Design the end-to-end user experience and UI of a complex Java-based desktop application
• Define and document user flows, interaction models, and interface layouts
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and accurately implemented
• Refine and adjust designs based on feedback, usability validation, and implementation constraints
• Proven experience designing complex software interfaces, preferably desktop applications
• Strong ability to translate product vision and technical requirements into clear UX flows and UI designs
• Experience producing wireframes, user flows, interaction models, and high-fidelity mockups
• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles applied to data-heavy, technical tools
• Proficiency with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe suite or equivalent)
