Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic Vendor Management Assistant to join our dynamic team of video game localization experts in Berlin. Your role will involve recruiting, developing, and maintaining our external translator pool, researching new channels to expand our network, and screening applications. You will also be responsible for reviewing and testing potential candidates, negotiating prices and contracts, onboarding new freelancers, and communicating daily with applicants to find the best translators. Additionally, you will support and work closely with the Linguistic Coordination and Project Management teams.
Must have:
  • Excellent English proficiency (spoken and written)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Knowledge of memoQ, LinkedIn, ProZ
  • Organizational, problem-solving, multitasking skills
  • Computer literacy, MS Office
Good to have:
  • Translation experience
  • Passion for video games

Transform your passion into a profession and dive into the world of video game localization with us - a leading name in video game localization. We are currently seeking an Vendor Management Assistant to join our dynamic team of gaming localization experts in the heart of Berlin.
 
YOUR ROLE

  • Recruiting new freelance translators for video game localization to expand our external translator pool.    
  • Developing, updating, maintaining the existing external translator pool.    
  • Researching new channels, networks and local communities to expand our network of freelance translators.     
  • Screening applications, at Personio mostly, communicating with candidates.     
  • Reviewing and testing potential candidates.    
  • Negotiating prices and contracts.   
  • Onboarding new freelancers.   
  • Communicating daily with applicants to find the best translators   . 
  • Supporting and working closely with the Linguistic Coordination and Project Management teams.
Your profile
  • Excellent level of English, both spoken and written.  
  • Strong communication skills.    
  • Knowledge of memoQ, LinkedIn, and ProZ.
  • Organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.     
  • Computer literacy, MS Office.    
  • Translation experience is a plus.    
  • Passion for video games is a plus.
