Job Description
Koala FX, a London-based visual effects studio, seeks a VFX editor to join their team on-site. The role involves organizing and updating internal edits and databases, maintaining the pipeline, creating folder structures, processing client materials, and ensuring quality assurance. The editor will also manage client deliveries, liaise with clients to resolve technical issues, and must have meticulous attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to multitask. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in editing software such as Premiere, Avid, or DaVinci Editor, along with knowledge of Nuke Studio and Ftrack.
Good To Have:
- Knowledge of Nuke Studio.
- Knowledge of Ftrack.
- High proficiency in Premiere, Avid, or DaVinci Editor.
Must Have:
- Understanding of editing software.
- Fast learner.
- Team-player who can also work independently.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.

We are looking for a VFX editor to join our team on-site as soon as possible
Requirements:
- General understanding of editing softwares
- Fast learner
- Team-player who can also work independently
Responsibilities:
- Organise and update internal edits and databases
- Organise, maintain and update pipeline
- Create an effective folder structure
- Process all client received material
- Quality assurance according to project delivery guidelines (ie: frame rates, resolution, colour space, naming conventions etc.)
- Manage client deliveries, turnover and pulls
- Liaise with clients to resolve any potential delivery technical issues
Essential Skills:
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Ideal Software knowledge:
- Nuke Studio
- Ftrack
- High proficiency in at least one of the following editing software: Premiere, Avid, DaVinci Editor
