Valeo’s VIE Program?

The Valeo VIE Program is available to citizens of the European Economic Area (EU + Norway, Liechtenstein and Iceland) aged between 18 and 28. This program is to work for one of our subsidiaries around the world!

Valeo Light is the world leader in automotive lighting. From the latest interior and exterior lighting innovations to cutting-edge wiping technologies, the Light division offers innovative visibility systems with a distinctive style, improving safety and driving comfort.

The site of Bietigheim Bissingen based in Germany belongs to Light Division. We are looking for a VIE Productivity Buyer for 12 months within the team.

Your challenges?

• You define and implement materials productivity, re-sourcing, and logistics in line with budget requirements, collaborating with the segment organization
   

• You support Segment Leaders in achieving site negotiation objectives
   

• You work on supplier relationships as Key Account Purchasing (KAP) when not covered by Group Commodity
   

• You implement materials standards at sites
   

• You collaborate with the Purchasing Manager and Segment Leaders to build site budgets
   

• You execute mitigation plans at the site level
   

• You ensure logistics protocol compliance for all bought-out parts
   

• You strictly apply internal audit standards, including certifications, procedures, and purchasing tools
   

• You manage the Purchasing Index for commodity under your scope for technical/re-sourcing
   

• You track the supplier rationalization indicator
   

• You monitor quality and logistic incidents

• You have a degree in business administration or commercial training with experience in purchasing/supply chain
   

• You have technical and commercial experience in purchasing
   

• You have negotiation skills at the decision-making level with international suppliers
   

• You use a creative and tactical negotiation approach
   

• You have an analytical, goal-oriented, and independent working style with assertiveness and teamwork skills
   

• You show willingness to take responsibility for the defined area of work
   

• You have fluent English skills; German is a +
   

• You are humble, a good listener, have a positive attitude, are professional, and have a sense of diplomacy
