The APU Quality Leader coordinates Quality members within the APU, overseeing process and product audits, and training in Logical Thinking. Key responsibilities include initiating QRQC, supporting issue analysis, updating quality tracking charts, performing line audits for standard compliance, and participating in the eradication of customer and non-quality issues. The role also involves ensuring adherence to QRQC rules, revising control plans, verifying 4M matrix respect, updating quality documents, and ensuring continuous process conformance. This position holds the authority to halt production lines for quality or safety risks and represents the customer on quality matters within Valeo.
Must Have:- Coordinate Quality members inside the APU.
- Coordinate process and product audit.
- Train and coach the Logical Thinking.
- Initiate the QRQC in QIM database and validate the robustness of the containment.
- Support APU Managers / Site Manager in the analysis of issues assigned in the QRQC activities.
- Update the APU quality tracking charts.
- Perform audits on the line to detect non-respect of the Standard.
- Participate in the eradication of Customer issues and Non Quality issues.
- Ensure that QRQC rules are respected and “Stop at first disagree” and “Stop at first no” are applied.
- Perform the revision of the control plan after an issue.
- Verify 4M matrix respect with regards product or process changes and ensure customer awareness and approval of changes.
- Update the quality documents following a process related change.
- Verify the continuous conformance of the process to generate product to specification.
- Has authority to stop a manufacturing / assembly line in any situation where Standards are not respected or a safety or quality risk.
- Represent Customer within Valeo on Quality matters.
