We are seeking a Visual Designer to join our Ramsey Education team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and developing visually appealing, high-quality materials educational curriculum to provide life changing personal finance skills to high school students across the United States.
What Winning Looks Like:
- Create visually compelling curriculum that provide impactful experiences for teachers and students capturing students' attention through strong typography, imagery, and other design elements
- Utilizing styles, templates, and brand guidelines to maintain consistency within curriculum user experience
- Collaborate effectively with both in-house and out-of-house partners (photographers, printers, etc.) to keep quality high and timelines on track while transforming lesson content into clear, engaging material
- Create infographics, charts, and illustrations to clarify the subject matter and to bring the materials to life
- Maintain a big-picture view of the curriculum ecosystem, creating documents to map out patterns and guide future work
- Show off your InDesign skills (and any other design tools) to create polished, compelling layouts that teachers will love
Skills Needed to Win:
- 4+ years of experience in Adobe Creative Suite
- 2+ years of visual design experience in print and digital landscapes
- 3+ years of in-house or agency design experience
- A track record of organizational skills to maintain clarity and consistency around assets within a curriculum ecosystem
