Visual Effects Artist (Unannounced project)

Job Overview

Wargaming is looking for an VFX Artist for an unannounced project.

You will work in a multidisciplinary team in a global community, and will have the ability to share your hard-earned knowledge and continue to develop your skill set by learning from your teammates.

What will you do?

• Design, create and implement realistic VFX for the core gameplay and environment
• Collaborate with Animation and Design to support gameplay requirements
• Precisely optimize in-game VFX to hit performance metrics finely balanced with visual quality
• Help to design, construct, document and implement new pipelines and processes

What are we looking for?

• Experience in working with particle systems in a game engine or simulations
• Experience with Houdini software (pyro simulations, destructions)
• Experience with the Unreal Engine / Unity
• Exceptional knowledge of 3d modeling packages (3ds max, maya, cinema4d)
• Strong understanding of particle systems, physics, shaders and post process effects

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Traditional art skills (drawing, painting, sculpting, photography)
• Concept skills – Ability to visualize and concept with this discipline
• BA in art or related field or equivalent experience
• Passion for making and playing great games, with an awareness of current titles and industry trends
