VMware NSX-T Engineer III

will provide technical solutions of VMware products and infrastructures. The NSX network expert will deliver network and security infrastructure for our organization. They play a critical role in building and sustaining client relations while driving the implementation of VMware solutions across the appropriate areas of our infrastructure.
Responsibilities:

Qualifications:

• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) certification in NSX-T is highly desirable.
• Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing VMware NSX-T environments.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, security principles, and virtualization technologies.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain protocol and processes with team and management
• Experience utilizing VMware Validated Designs
• Experience managing and maintaining NSX-T environments
• Ability to troubleshoot NSX-T issues
• Ensuring network reliability and availability through well-planned and implemented solutions
• Deliver networking and security infrastructures
• Develop SDN networks in NSX-T with integration into physical Cisco Leaf/Spine networks
• Demonstrated experience with network overlay technologies like VXLAN, OTV and EVPN/BGP.
• Help develop/implement the automation of network deployment and configuration
• Configure network security layers
• Improve network manageability and scalability
• Excellent understanding of Networking technologies, including security and monitoring aspects
• Creates detailed and professional solution designs, diagrams, and implementation plans for small to large deployments; designs may include transformational IT initiatives such as data centers of the future, virtualization, cloud, infrastructure-as-a-service (IaaS), storage, networking, business continuity, and other solutions as related to the SDN NSX-T environment; other documents include as-built and other knowledge sharing documentation
