Role Purpose:

We're looking for a TEMPORARY VP, Digital & Programmatic to lead a key client relationship in delivering exceptional campaign results and thought leadership. As a successful candidate, you will have a business-oriented determination to guide digital innovation and team efficiency. You will also manage and lead client teams and act as the primary business owner by directing the efforts of these pods to achieve client goals. You will manage the overall strategy and approach for each client engagement. As a member of the leadership team, you will also provide ongoing feedback to senior management on market needs, product development and opportunities and insights to "future-proof" the business and build on dentsu's reputation as a leader in the Programmatic space.

Accountabilities:

In this role you will:

  • Contribute to dentsu operational and team strategy
  • Connect regularly with clients and Client Center leadership to assess account health and create strategic goals for improvement and growth.
  • Be responsible for adherence to client contracts/SOWs, and developing joint staffing plans
  • Be viewed as a consultative leader- aligning dentsu partner strategies to client priorities
  • Participate in organic and new business pitches on a routine basis
  • Stay up to date on the latest dentsu activation, M1 or other internal tools, using your knowledge as a conduit to share with others
  • Ensure the team follows defined process for campaign management across digital and programmatic channels, including excellent hands-on-keys activation work
  • Demonstrate effective team management and communication with a focus on leading, delegating and prioritizing team deliverables, promoting individual growth across team
  • Ensure digital and programmatic strategy is proactively delivered to entire book of business

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 10-12+ years' experience within the programmatic and digital industry
  • Experience across all digital media channels and ability to eloquently speak to each
  • Consistent exceptional project management; ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communications, presentation, and analytical skills
  • Strong analytical thinking and mathematical skills
  • Proficient in programmatic technology, platform, and partner solutions
  • Experience working with business applications; MS Office Suite required

Additional Information:

The hourly pay range for this position is $65.38 - $105.60.The hourly pay rate for the successful candidate is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law. Temporary employees are eligible for paid holidays in accordance with dentsu policy, as well as safe and sick time. This position is not eligible for any other benefits or other compensation.
