The Vice President, Global Demand Planning will lead the global demand planning function for Hasbro Toys & Games. We are looking for a Vice President, Global Demand Planning to play a critical leadership role within our Supply Chain Organization. This individual will drive the global demand planning function for Hasbro Toys & Games, ensuring an integrated, data-driven forecasting process that optimizes business performance across markets and channels worldwide.

 

A day in the life of a VP, Global Demand Planning:

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of an operational consensus forecast, synthesizing insights from strategic category planning, promotions, and events while leveraging predictive analytics for baseline forecasting. 
  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap to enhance forecast accuracy, minimize bias, and reduce volatility to improve sell-in predictions and revenue forecasting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Commercial, Brand, Marketing, Finance, and Supply Chain teams to influence stakeholders and build a high-performing demand planning organization. 
  • Oversee the Global Demand Management Review process, ensuring an unconstrained consensus forecast within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) cycle, enabling downstream supply planning and execution. 
  • Lead a team of experts in demand forecasting, statistical modeling, data analytics, AI, and machine learning to enhance forecast precision and identify business growth opportunities. 
  • Partner with key stakeholders to enhance process inputs and drive measurable business improvements.
  • Cultivate a world-class demand planning team through coaching, mentorship, and professional development initiatives.
  • Champion change initiatives across the organization, fostering a data-driven, unbiased, and results-oriented forecasting culture. 

 

What you’ll bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in demand planning, including 5-7 years in leadership roles required.
  • Expertise in forecasting methodologies and demand planning tools such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms.
  • Proven success in developing and implementing demand planning strategies that drive business impact.
  • Deep understanding of advanced demand forecasting models that integrate historical sales data, market trends, promotional activities, and seasonality.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in statistical modeling, AI, and machine learning to enhance forecast accuracy and business outcomes.
  • Data-driven decision-maker with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies.
  • Ability to align demand plans with supply and financial objectives, ensuring a single, integrated plan across the business.
  • Exceptional leadership, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with experience presenting to and influencing executive stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic mindset, and ability to drive both short- and long-term planning initiatives.
  • Skilled negotiator and problem-solver, with the ability to resolve complex and sensitive issues diplomatically.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive innovation in processes, systems, and reporting to optimize costs and operational efficiencies.
  • Proven project management expertise, with the ability to oversee multi-functional initiatives effectively

The base salary range for this position is $232,000 to $348,000. The hiring range will vary based on factors such as experience, skills, and market conditions. Additionally, employees may be eligible for annual and long-term incentives as part of their overall compensation package.
