Role description:

• Responsible for the execution of the regional EU W&D strategy and accountable for the W&D savings.

Key responsibilities:

• Execution of regional EU W&D strategy
• Accountable for W&D Fuel For Growth (F4G) savings
• Controls tendering roadmap, coordinates regional & cross-BU tenders and builds standard tendering toolkit in collaboration with regional procurement
• Implements standardised KPIs with common targets and highlights performance focus areas
• Runs W&D community
• Tracks BCPs across Europe
• Builds mid to long term capacity planning capabilities to avoid WH capacity constraints
• Creates and owns budgeting and cost controlling tools with focus on ABC (activity-based costings)
• Drafts & implements standardised W&D processes
• Supports/participates in network studies & other external consultancy projects
• Provides benchmarks and advises on best in-class technologies & systems
• Propose standardised LOC org structure for W&D
• Build in-house resources and capabilities for CI and network studies

Experience & Education:

Required

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field
• Substantial experience in W&D in both FMCG and GDP environments

Preferred

• Master’s degree
• Continuous improvement experience using lean or six sigma methodologies
• Ability to work independently and build cross-functional partnerships across the organization
