Must have:

  • Serve as senior SEO advisor, guiding strategy and ensuring best practices across web properties.
  • Oversee web ecosystem including tag management systems, analytics tools, and integrations.
  • Partner with Marketing, IT, Product, and vendors to align web initiatives with business needs.
  • Establish and enforce processes for content publishing, system changes, and site performance.
  • Develop clear, step-by-step guides for CMS workflows, enabling self-serving of routine tasks.
  • Take on ad hoc digital projects and cross-departmental efforts requiring strong program management.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders, including risks, dependencies, and metrics.

Job Details

We are seeking a Web Program Manager to oversee and drive critical web initiatives that support our digital transformation and business growth goals. This role will be responsible for project managing large-scale web projects, providing holistic content strategy, optimizing our web systems, and leading cross-functional efforts to ensure the smooth execution of web-related programs. The ideal candidate brings a blend of strategic thinking, hands-on project management skills, and a deep understanding of modern web ecosystems – including providing senior-level SEO consultation to ensure our strategy drives visibility, conversions, and performance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Project Manage Major Web Initiatives: Own the planning, coordination, and execution of high-impact web projects such as site migrations, redesigns, platform transitions, and integrations.
  • Project Management: Build and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocations. Ensure on-time delivery and clear communication with stakeholders across departments.
  • Senior SEO Consultation: Serve as a senior-level SEO advisor to the Web Performance & Strategy team – helping to guide strategy, reviewing key initiatives, and helping ensure SEO best practices are followed across web properties and processes.
  • System & Tool Ownership: Oversee the web ecosystem including tag management systems, web analytics tools, and related integrations. Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner closely with teams across Marketing, IT, Product, and external vendors to align web initiatives with business needs and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Governance & Best Practices: Establish and enforce processes for content publishing, system changes, and site performance. Maintain a strong focus on scalability, accessibility, and site health.
  • User Enablement: Develop clear, step-by-step guides for key CMS workflows, allowing self-serving of routine tasks.
  • Special Projects: Take on ad hoc digital projects and cross-departmental efforts that require strong program management and strategic execution.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular updates to leadership and stakeholders, including risks, dependencies, and success metrics

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5+ years of experience in web marketing, digital marketing, or related roles
  • Proven track record of driving web traffic and conversions through effective digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong knowledge of web analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, Hotjar, etc.), SEO best practices, and web optimization techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of user experience (UX) principles and their application to web design and content strategies.
  • Experience managing web development projects, working with designers, developers, and content creators.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with content management systems (CMS), eCommerce platforms, and A/B testing tools.
  • Certifications in digital marketing (e.g., Google Ads, HubSpot).
