The Account Representative plays a key role in driving customer growth and retention. This role is responsible for building relationships with prospects and existing customers through targeted outreach, lead follow-up, and account management support. You’ll partner closely with Regional Sales Managers to develop new opportunities while ensuring customers receive the guidance and support they need. This entry-level position offers a competitive base salary, commission, and excellent career growth potential in sales or marketing.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Generate new business opportunities through lead follow-up and outbound campaigns.
  • Conduct calling campaigns to support new customer acquisition efforts.
  • Identify and drive cross-sell opportunities within the customer base.
  • Manage customer communication, negotiation, and processing for license transfers and upgrades.
  • Coordinate and schedule product overview demos to educate customers on licensed software.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Professional presence with the ability to represent Fortra and its solutions effectively.

This role is eligible for commission as defined under the terms of the applicable plan. Our compensation philosophy prioritizes fair market value and internal equity, aligning with your experience and specialized skill set.
