Intel is seeking a working student for QA automation in Munich. This part-time role involves technical responsibilities, typically for short periods during academic breaks. The student will contribute to quality assurance efforts, utilizing scripting and software development skills. Key requirements include a background in electrical engineering or related fields, proficiency in programming languages like Perl or Python, and experience with Windows/Linux systems and Cadence Virtuoso. The position requires on-site presence for two days a week as part of a hybrid work model.

Must Have

  • Registered student in electrical engineering, material sciences, physics, chemistry, or equivalent
  • Availability for at least 3 working days, 2 of them from Munich site
  • Interest in software development/scripting
  • Knowledge of Perl, Python, C++, Skill, or Tcl
  • Experience with Windows 11, MS Office and UNIX/LINUX systems
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso
  • Good and fluent English

Good to Have

  • Design skills (digital or analogue/mixed-signal)
  • Experience with Physical verification (calibre, icv)
  • Fluent in German

Job assignments are usually for the summer or for short periods during breaks from school.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Registered student on electrical engineering, material sciences, physics, chemistry, or equivalent experience
  • Availability for at least 3 working days, 2 out of them from Munich site.
  • Interest in software development/scripting is required and knowledge of Perl, Python, C++, Skill, or Tcl is needed.
  • Experience with Windows 11, MS Office and UNIX/LINUX systems is required.
  • Experience with Cadence Virtuoso
  • Good and fluent English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Design skills (digital or analogue/mixed-signal) would be highly beneficial
  • Any experience with Physical verification (calibre, icv) is highly beneficial but not required
  • Fluent in German is beneficial
