Job Summary

Job Description

The Workshop Technician will be responsible for ensuring the conformity of processes, participating in non-conformity analysis, initiating action plans, and managing production launches. Key duties include preparing and adjusting production means, carrying out robot adjustments, maintaining resources, and proposing improvements to manufacturing processes. The role also involves training operators and ensuring versatility in resources.
Must have:
  • Check and ensure conformity of processes and adjustment ranges defined by the methods.
  • Participate in the analysis of non-conformities, TLR loss and TRP loss within its scope.
  • Initiate action plans and coordinate their deployment to resolve issues of non-compliance, TLR loss and TRP loss within its scope.
  • Ensure manufacturing, control, packaging and shipping in the pre-series phases until the switch to production with the MEP Methods P1.
  • Manage the production launch of P0, Purchasing or Methods modifications (modification commission).
  • Prepare and adjust the means of production.
  • Carry out robot adjustment and programming ranges in support of methods and maintenance.
  • Participate at your level in the maintenance of resources (maintenance monitoring L1 and L2, Red Tag, and processing of deviations within your scope).
  • Propose and implement improvements (manufacturing time, quality of parts, means of control, adjustment and reaction standards, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with the schedule / KANBAN.
  • Update the ZAP production indicators.
  • Produce a daily report on the performance of the attached production unit.
  • Be a referent for operator/driver training in order to enable greater autonomy among employees.
  • Ensure versatility in resources.
  • Respect and enforce all standards in terms of environmental management, energy and health and safety risk prevention and alert in the event of deviation.
  • Comply with current policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process within the team.

Job Details

Quality/methods

Level 1

  • Check and ensure conformity of processes & adjustment ranges defined by the methods.
  • Participate in the analysis of non-conformities, TLR loss and TRP loss within its scope

Level 2

  • Initiate action plans and coordinate their deployment to resolve issues of non-compliance, TLR loss and TRP loss within its scope
  • Ensure manufacturing, control, packaging and shipping in the pre-series phases until the switch to production with the MEP Methods P1.
  • Participate in the creation and implementation of documents necessary for production as well as their updating.
  • Manage the production launch of P0, Purchasing or Methods modifications (modification commission)

Ensure the smooth running of production

Level 1

  • Get involved in processing ERIM files and monitoring the completion of N1 and N2 maintenance
  • Prepare and adjust the means of production.
  • Carry out robot adjustment and programming ranges in support of methods and maintenance.
  • Participate at your level in the maintenance of resources (maintenance monitoring L1 and L2, Red Tag, and processing of deviations within your scope).
  • Propose and implement improvements (manufacturing time, quality of parts, means of control, adjustment and reaction standards, etc.).
  • Ensure compliance with the schedule / KANBAN.
  • Update the ZAP production indicators.
  • Produce a daily report on the performance of the attached production unit.

Level 2

  • Be a referent for operator/driver training in order to enable greater autonomy among employees.

Responsibilities and latitude of action

  • Respect and enforce all standards in terms of environmental management, energy and health and safety risk prevention and alert in the event of deviation.
  • Comply with current policies and procedures.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement process within the team, in particular through the emergence and realization of PAs (proposals for improvement).

Level 2

  • May be required to partially replace a higher qualification job not covered by team coaching .

Level 3

  • May be required to partially replace a higher qualification job integrating team management or the leadership of multidisciplinary groups and external staff (supplier, service provider) participating in the continuous improvement process.
