At Apple, the WW Retail Finance Manager - Store Operations will lead the Retail FP&A Field Support team. This role involves partnering with global teams to influence decisions, shape strategies, and strengthen Apple’s future. The manager will guide analysts, deliver insights, and craft the financial story behind Apple Retail, focusing on business decision support, financial planning and analysis, executive influence, systems innovation, and team leadership and development.
Must have:
  • Serve as a trusted finance partner shaping strategy and decision-making across critical Retail Stores functions.
  • Own stewardship of $1B+ in operating expenses, leading forecasting, KPI reporting, and performance analytics.
  • Present clear, compelling, and data-driven recommendations directly to the VP of Retail Stores & Operations and VP of Retail Marketing.
  • Define and execute a roadmap for finance systems and tools to streamline workflows, enhance accuracy, and enable the organization to operate at scale.
  • Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analysts, fostering growth, accountability, and a culture of excellence.
  • 6+ years of Finance/Business experience in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
  • 2+ years of proven team leadership, with experience coaching and developing talent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or Business (or equivalent).
Good to have:
  • 8+ years of Finance / Business experience in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
  • Expertise in quantitative and financial analysis, with the agility to navigate ambiguity.
  • Strong business acumen and deep intellectual curiosity for Apple’s products, services, and strategy.

We are seeking a Finance Manager with sharp analytical skills, creativity, and leadership presence to head the Retail FP&A Field Support team. In this role, you’ll guide a talented group of analysts, deliver powerful insights, and help craft the financial story behind Apple Retail.

As a Retail Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following: Business Decision Support Serve as a trusted finance partner shaping strategy and decision-making across critical Retail Stores functions—including Marketing, In-store Visuals & Merchandising, Security, and Store Operations Forecast, Plan & Analyze (FP&A) Own stewardship of $1B+ in operating expenses, leading forecasting, KPI reporting, and performance analytics across quarterly and annual planning cycles, including QBRs and close processes. Executive Influence Present clear, compelling, and data-driven recommendations directly to the VP of Retail Stores & Operations and VP of Retail Marketing, influencing investment priorities and operational strategies Systems & Tools Innovation Define and execute a roadmap for finance systems and tools to streamline workflows, enhance accuracy, and enable the organization to operate at scale with greater insight and efficiency. Leadership & Development Inspire, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of analysts, fostering growth, accountability, and a culture of excellence.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $149,700 and $225,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.

Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
