We are looking for a passionate and creative Intern Reporters to assist our news team with reporting, interviewing, and content creation. This internship is designed to provide valuable hands-on experience for students interested in the field of journalism. The interns will participate in on-site interviews, writing stories, assisting with investigative reporting, and edit content while having the opportunity to learn from experienced journalists.
Key Responsibilities
- News Writing and Reporting: Write clear, accurate, and engaging news stories, including articles, features, and investigative reports.
- Research and Fact-Checking: Conduct in-depth research and verify facts to ensure the accuracy of the content.
- On-Site Interviews: Participate in interviews, build connections with interviewees, and document key details.
- Content Editing and Proofreading: Assist the editorial team in refining articles, ensuring smooth language and proper formatting.
- Social Media Support: Help manage social media accounts by posting content and engaging with the audience.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with photographers, editors, and other reporters to complete news projects.
Requirements
- Educational Background: Currently pursuing a degree in Journalism, Communications, Media, or a related field, or having relevant experience.
- Writing Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver accurate and impactful news.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines while maintaining high efficiency.
- Multimedia Skills
(preferred): Familiarity with basic photography, video editing, or related software
- Language Proficiency: Proficient in Chinese and English, translation skills are a plus.
- Passion and Curiosity: A strong interest in current events, a keen eye for news, and a willingness to ask questions and investigate deeply.
