A Little About Us:
The Ads Data team at Yahoo! serves all Yahoo! ad products serving advertisers and publishers, with billions of users and dollars under the influence. As part of Ads data platforms team, we are responsible for being the conduit for all of the ads data traffic to all external systems (for advertisers and publishers) and internal systems (for revenue, reporting, and targeting).
As a Product Manager, you will be responsible for managing the roadmap and execution of one of our engineering teams in ads data platforms (Data Lake/Data Pipelines) and driving the development of new features or partnering on cross-product feature development from ideation to launch.

- Get into the weeds: You are extremely data-driven, and you have basic database query skills so that you can analyze data on your own and not be dependent on others to perform analysis.
- Work with cross-functional teams: As a member of the Ads Data Platforms team, you are able to coordinate and work with multiple cross-functional teams across different countries to build consensus and alignment around their own product areas.
- Excellent communicator: You have the ability to translate complex business challenges into simple and clear language for our engineering team.
Your Responsibilities:
- Communicating with internal and external stakeholders & customers about product ideas and feature requirements.
- Working with peer product managers to define cross-functional feature requirements and implementation road-map.
- Defining product requirements/user stories and launching new product capabilities using Agile methodology.
- Working with engineering to understand the underlying technologies & trade-offs needed to put high-quality solutions in place.
- Leading an agile engineering scrum team(s) to deliver value for customers quickly while iterating towards your long-term vision.
- Bringing to market product-based solutions & features across multiple delivery teams (PM, Engineering, user docs, marketing, sales, etc.).
- Align with analytics and metrics – KPIs that drive business growth and engagement.
- Engage with “hands-on keyboard” users to collect user feedback and apply to future features.
Requirements:
- Proven track record of results, demonstrated accountability for achieving individual and shared goals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think independently.
- Keen eye on data processing, data management, and data discovery solutions.
- Exceptional listening and communication skills (written, verbal).
- 2+ years experience in a tech company in a related position (PM, Engineering, Project Mgmt, Technical Support, Technical Sales, Technical / Professional Services or Consulting, etc.).
- An ability to multitask, organize & lead complex features, detail orientation, and be able to summarize.
- Experience delivering products using Agile / Scrum software development & Engineering practices.
- A broad understanding of web & internet technologies, application development tech, and IT infrastructure; direct adtech experience is a plus.
- A good understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, ETL Processing for large-scale data is a plus.
